Karen Wallace stepped into the role of Managing Director in 2003. With a successful career in Sales/Marketing and Business Management, her local and international experience has made significant contributions to the company and our clients. Most notably the enormously successful 2004 Animal Healthcare road tour, which enabled us meet and discuss current issues and new products with both horse and business owners alike.
Ned Callahan is the founder of Animal Healthcare Products and continues to play an active role as Director of Pharmacology. As a registered pharmacist by profession with 30 plus years of pharmaceutical marketing and distribution experience, Ned has held executive responsibility for operations, quality, sales and marketing in the pharmaceutical logistics and animal healthcare fields.
Our Operations Manager Cathy Jaynes is responsible for the smooth, and for the most part seamless, running of the business. Her dedication to Equine Health and Animal Healthcare Products makes her an invaluable part of the team.
Our Director of Trade is Mike Simpson. Mike began his career as a sales representative for QMD Medical, a medical device manufacturer. Over the last ten years, he has specialized in the sourcing and marketing of Animal Health Pharmaceutical and non-Pharmaceutical products internationally. His considerable experience in the DEA, FDA, alternate source distributors and suppliers, international customs, freight and transportation has been invaluable to both Animal Health Products and it's clients.
Our company Veterinarian is Joca Van der veen. Not only does she keep us updated on the latest Equine health issue, she is also tirelessly dedicated to all creatures, small and large. Joca comes from generations of entrepreneurs and is a renowned international columnist and educator. Many of you may also recognize the Van der Veen family name. You're right. Joca is also one of the top Friesen Breed experts in the country.
Eric Witherspoon is our resident veterinary consultant for those hard to manage cases. He began his esteemed career after graduating from the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine in 1980 to establish his private, vibrant practice. He is the founding member and immediate past president of NEPA. He is currently the sessions chair for equine continuing education for the Wild West Veterinary Conference and equine liaison between the OVMA and Oregon State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Eric is also owner and operator of Healing Tree Products.
Sandy Mancini plays the crucial role of Field Consultant to Animal Healthcare Products. As a champion equestrian jumper, trainer and breeder her 'real time' knowledge and information of the what's happening in the field helps us react quicker to the needs ever changing needs of horse owners.
